Physical activity simply means movement of the body that uses energy. Walking, gardening, briskly pushing a baby stroller, climbing the stairs, playing soccer, or dancing the night away are all good examples of being active.
Don’t go at it alone! Peer support groups can be helpful in staying motivated and accountable to your physical activity program. Gather a few of your co-workers and take a walk on your lunch break. Take a stretch break at your desk. The options are endless! Just pick your favorite physical activity to destress and stay true to your commitment to your health and happiness!
